OUR HISTORY

Impact & Restoration Center was born out of a legacy of faith and a commitment to spiritual growth. Founded on July 30th, 2022, and officially incorporated in September 2022, our church began as Shekinah Glory Deliverance Ministries. In honor of the late Apostle Cassie Brown and following Pastor Mangaliso Gibson's transition to pursue personal goals, Impact & Restoration Center emerged with a renewed vision.

While our roots are in Apostolic reformation, today we are a non-denominational church that embraces the five-fold ministry gifts. We are dedicated to restoring lives, impacting communities, and empowering individuals to live out their God-given purpose.

MEET OUR PASTOR

Pastor Shenequa Lee

Pastor Shenequa Lee epitomizes unwavering dedication to the ministry and exemplifies the true essence of servant leadership. Her journey of devotion to the Lord commenced at the tender age of 15, whereupon she discovered that her divine calling transcended the rich musical heritage of her family.

Immersed in the nurturing environment of Shekinah Glory Deliverance Ministries under the tutelage of the esteemed Apostle Cassie Sorrells-Brown, Pastor Lee imbibed the profound truth that it is the anointing which distinguishes one's God-given gifts and talents. Through diligent study, fervent prayer, and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit, she was equipped for the path of ministry that lay ahead.

Over the course of 25 years within Shekinah Glory Deliverance Ministries, Pastor Lee has served with distinction in various capacities, including Associate Pastor, Praise & Worship Leader, Choir Director, Church Administrator, Youth Ministry Leader, and Pastoral Adjutant & Teacher. Following the passing of Apostle Brown, Pastor Lee spent six years under the leadership of Pastor Mangaliso Gibson, fulfilling roles as Associate Pastor and Church Administrator.

Pastor Lee's multifaceted talents encompass leadership, administration, strategic planning, and communication, which have propelled her to success in both her professional and ministerial endeavors. Her 18-year tenure with Broward County Public Schools afforded her ample opportunity to refine these skills in educational settings at both the school and district levels.

In July of 2022, following fervent prayer and discernment, Pastor Lee embraced a new chapter in her ministry journey by accepting the call to shepherd and unite the past with the present, leading to the establishment of iMPACT & RESTORATION CENTER and iMPACT & RESTORE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTER. Under Pastor Lee's guidance, these entities serve as beacons of hope and transformation, guided by divine vision and strategy to fulfill God's purpose on earth.

In addition to her pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Lee finds fulfillment in her roles as a devoted wife to David Lee and a loving mother to two children, Jasmine and Khai. She also serves as Managing Partner and Co-founder of Chef David's BBQ & Catering and holds the esteemed position of President of Impact & Restore Community Development Center. Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Business Supervision and Management, coupled with a certificate in Business Management and Hospitality.

Pastor Shenequa Lee serves not only as a mentor and coach but also as the Senior Pastor of iMPACT & RESTORATION COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTER. She lives by 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
— Matthew 19:26
